EXTRA-CURRICULAR
In addition to sports, students may participate in a variety of activities or clubs.
Social Activities
Social activities appropriate to the various age groups may be planned during the course of the school year. However, an activity will carry the sponsorship of the school only when the announcement of it comes from the school authorities, or have their explicit endorsement. Only St. Anne Pacelli students are allowed to attend Middle school dances (grades 6-8) that are school sponsored and chaperoned by parents and staff.
Altar Servers
Any Catholic student in grades 4 through 8 may participate in the altar servers' (acolyte) program after the required training is completed. Students are scheduled to serve at school liturgies as well as parish liturgies.
Math Team
Team membership is open to students in grades 7 and 8. The organization promotes problem solving skills while preparing for competition. Team(s) compete bi-annually. Mathcounts competition is held in February, and MCSD Middle School Tournament is in the spring. Meetings are held weekly.
National Junior Beta Club
Membership is comprised of students in grades 6 through 8. St. Anne- Pacelli Catholic School's chapter promotes academic excellence, leadership, and good citizenship by having its members actively involved in many school, church, and community service projects throughout the year.
Safety Patrol
Members apply to become safety patrols in grade 5. Their purpose is to aid in the safety of our students. Safety patrols are on duty before and after school. Meetings are held as needed.
Jr. Art Club
Jr. Art Club is open to students in the third, fourth, and fifth grades. This club gives students the opportunity to explore various mediums and subjects, allowing students to further study art based on their interest.
Art Club
Open to students in grades 6-8, this club offers an opportunity for a more in depth study of art, honing in on student skills.
Student Council
Members are elected in grades 3 through 8 to represent the entire school. Its purpose is to promote the general welfare of the school by coordinating school activities and acting as liaison between staff and students. Meetings are held monthly.
Wings Yearbook Staff
Members are chosen from rising seventh and eighth grade classes at the end of each year. The purpose of this group is to create and produce the school's annual.
