Book Swap
Chairperson: Kristin Schlies

A new event added for ’08-’09, our book swap will allow students to turn in books they have completed and swap them for books they haven’t yet read.  Leftover books will be used to stock the media centers and classroom libraries.  Volunteers will be needed to collect and sort books, help student select new books and manage book tickets.

Breakfast with Santa

The first weekend of December, our young students are treated to Breakfast with Santa.  Children also have the opportunity to shop for gifts for their family.   This event requires help with ticket sales, decorations, staffing the Christmas shop and clean-up.

Casino Night
Chairpersons: Amy Jardina, Heather Dalelio

Casino Night is the major fundraiser for the Home & School Association.  The evening features a full range of casino games (for fun only!), food & drinks, a silent auction and live auction. Volunteers are needed for ticket sales, publicity, food, decorations, auction item procurement and table sponsorships.

Fall Carnival
Chairpersons: Georgia Eikelberry, Christine Wawrosh- Weed

A St. Anne Pacelli tradition, the Fall Carnival is fun for kids of all ages with carnival games, inflatables, rock-climbing wall, food, costume contest and a haunted house.  Each class is assigned an attraction to staff for the 3 hour event.  Additional volunteers are needed to help with wristband sales, cake walk and set-uip/clean-up.

Parent Ambassadors
Chairpersons: Heidi Rehak, Julie Davis

Parent Ambassadors work with Admissions to help new and prospective families feel welcome.  Duties include giving school tours, attending Open House, calling & writing new families, answering questions and acting as hosts for new families at school events.

Pastries with Parents
Chairperson: Arte Harmon

Several times a year, parents are invited to join their students for breakfast before school.  Join this committee to help with set-up and clean-up of this event.

Sally Foster
Chairperson: Noreen Mansfield

Sally Foster is a popular fundraiser that runs during the fall.  Room parents will ask for volunteers to help sort and distribute the orders once they arrive at the school.

Sister Philomena Fogarty Memorial International Luncheon
Chairpersons: Sherry Jones, Maureen Gottfried

The Sister Philomena Fogarty Memorial International Luncheon is held during Catholic Schools Week each year.  This event offers the opportunity to learn about other cultures by sampling food from a variety of countries.  Parents and siblings are invited to enjoy this fun event with their students.   Volunteer opportunities include decorations, clean-up and help serving food.

Teacher Appreciation
Chairpersons: Patti Denzik, Sherry Martin, Selina Kirkland

The Home & School Association hosts a number of Teacher Appreciation events throughout the year including luncheons, Christmas Party and Teacher Appreciation Week.  Help is needed to provide food for events, set-up and clean-up at luncheons and for a variety of events during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Used Uniforms
Chairpersons: Nancy Land, Georgia Eikelberry

Volunteers are needed to organize the used uniform closet and staff it for various events.   The money raised from the uniform closet provides petty cash for the office and supports the high school Student Council.
