Pacelli offers students a variety of leadership, academic, athletic and fine arts activities in addition to the curriculum. All of these clubs meet at least once a month during Activity Schedule.
Art Club: The Art Club is an organization that helps students learn more about both fine art and crafts. The club works on projects to help beautify the school and community. As opportunities are available, gallery and museum visits are also planned.
Chess Club: The Chess Club is open to all Pacelli students who are not only interested in learning how to play chess, but also in sharpening their skills and learning new strategies. Meetings often include chess tournaments and guest speakers.
Drama Club: The Drama Club is an opportunity for students to express themselves through the theatre. Creative opportunities for members include a one-act play, first semester, and a musical, in conjunction with St. Anne School, second semester.
Foreign Language Club: The main objective of the Foreign Language Club is to foster an understanding and appreciation of foreign cultures. Students are given exposure to foreign cultures through diverse activities which focus on music, art, food, dance, films, and religion. Members go on field trips and participate in the Foreign Language Fair at Columbus State University.
Literary Team: Students interested in creative writing and exploration of diverse texts join Literary Team. Members attend the Region 2A Literary Meet, competing in categories such as extemporaneous speaking, dramatic interpretation, spelling, and essay writing.
Math Team: The Math Team is open to all students who love mathematics and competition. The Varsity Math Team and Junior Varsity Math Team compete in area tournaments, where they have been very successful in the past few years. In addition to club days, Math Team meetings are also scheduled by the moderators.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Young Life: The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Young Life is a non-denominational association of students whose mission is to see the world impacted positively through Jesus Christ’s influence on athletes and all high school students. Official Website
National Honor Society: NHS is an organization of Junior and Senior students who meet high academic (3.50+ GPA), leadership, service, scholarship, and character standards. Students are invited to submit an application to join NHS. All applications are reviewed by the Faculty Council, who makes the final decision on membership. Official Website
Pacelli Ambassadors: The Pacelli Ambassadors is open to any student interested in promoting Pacelli High School. The Ambassadors act as hosts and hostesses during several school sponsored functions. Membership is by application.
Prom Committee: The Prom Committee meets to plan, raise money, and decorate for prom. It is comprised of dedicated Juniors.
